In the ongoing saga of the Einar Nielsen Field House, 'Through the Window' embarks on a nuanced exploration, harmonizing archival treasures, the contemporary construction tableau, and the artistic alchemy of bookmaking. This project illuminates the sanctity of archives, casting them as custodians of the past, and enlists the craft of bookmaking as a portal into the Field House's evolving narrative. As construction dust settles, each archival document and photograph becomes a chapter of a new archive of the Field House. This design research project navigates the intersection of the archival, historical, and the present-day metamorphosis of the under-construction site.
