MDD Internship Requirement Information
Description: Internships are intended to help students think beyond the academic experience. This requirement does not require registration or course enrollment. It is checked off when the student completes the agreed upon internship experience.
Process: Students will fill out the form linked below. If approved an email will be sent within 5 days. Once the internship is completed the student should set up a time to meet with the Chair to discuss their experience. If a final approval is reached the requirement will be marked “completed” in the degree plan.
Guidlines: Each student must complete an internship in which they are using their expertise as a designer to some affect. This could be an internship in a design office, but it could also mean work in non-profits, government or policy positions.
