As a young generation, we face invisible stressors from society, family, and ourselves.
Due date, deadline, expiration……Everything tends to have an “expiration date”. We need to get things done before it expires, so we might need to hustle for a bit.
This led me to question why we stopped playing and succumbed to pressures. Everything seems to have an "expiration date," and we end up hustling to get things done. Researching the hustle culture in Asian regions, I discovered that people spend their lives fighting for survival but have no time to enjoy life.
Capitalism and individualism are deeply ingrained in our society, and changing the system is not easy.
As a designer, I believe in solving problems within my ability. Thus, I choose to create a space with concepts like Zen and Hygge that offers a cozy atmosphere where people can hang out with friends, put their work aside, and curl up on the couch with mulled wine while chatting.
