The overwhelming nature of Salt Lake’s public transit creates many barriers for the people who need it most. Translating Transit provides new refugees with a new kind of educational experience, instilling crucial knowledge through drawings and augmented reality interactions.
This project takes the form of a book, one that can be easily produced and distributed to clients as they first arrive in their new home. Interactive education elements help clients learn how to use transit while digital interactions provide a fun and engaging environment in which to learn.
